My Gratitude Daily ("we", "us") is a private journaling app. We respect your privacy and treat your entries as confidential. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including via Google).
• Profile data: optional display name and reminder preferences you provide.
• Journal entries: the prompts, reflections, and mood ratings you choose to save.
• Billing data: if you subscribe, Stripe handles payment details. We store your subscription status, not your card number.
• Technical data: minimal logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

• To provide the journaling experience and sync your entries across devices.
• To send transactional emails (sign-in, password reset, trial reminders, receipts).
• To process subscriptions through Stripe.
• To keep the service secure and functioning.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your journal entries to train AI models or share them with advertisers.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the app: Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, authentication), Stripe (payments), and an email delivery provider for transactional messages. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

Data retention

We retain your account and entries for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us, and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

My Gratitude Daily is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
